1. Download and install
Choose the available build for your operating system. No account is needed to download the app or start the desktop trial. On Windows, run the downloaded installer and follow the setup instructions.
CINESLATE supports Windows and macOS. Check the system requirements before installing.
2. Prepare optional components
When the app offers to prepare additional components, choose Install now to download them, or Install later to continue. Smart Features that need these components become available after installation.
Keep an internet connection available while downloading components and allow additional storage for the tools and models you choose.
3. Try the app or activate your licence
You can start with the 14-day desktop trial. Trial exports include a watermark, and you can create up to three shared links, each active for 24 hours. After the trial ends, projects become view-only until you activate a licence.
After purchase, sign in to your account using the email associated with your purchase and copy your serial. In the app, open Help → License…, paste the serial, and select Activate.
4. Connect your account to share online
To publish online shared links, connect the app to a free CINESLATE account with a verified email address. This lets feedback on your shared links return to the app. An account is required for online sharing during the trial too.
5. Manage your licence and devices
Your account shows your licences, device activations, and available billing controls. The app's Help → License… dialog also provides Refresh and Deactivate This Device.
Internet access is required for activation and periodic licence refresh. Keep your serial private.
